Whether you are a customer or a non-customer relation of Synchron, it is possible that you share personal data with Synchron when you are in contact with us. You may even share, as a customer, an important part of your business with us. In order to deliver quality products and service, you will need to provide us with information, also containing personal data. This is the case when, sending documents to Synchron, calling Synchron, e-mailing us, writing us letter and if you come by or speak to an adviser of Synchron. We therefore think it is important that we assure you that we will handle your (personal) data with care and confidentiality. In this Privacy Statement we will provide you with more information about how we handle your (personal)data.

What is personal data
Personal data is any data about an identified or identifiable natural person. This implies that information either refers to someone directly or can be traced back to that person. Because you came in contact with Synchron, you have provided us with some information. The personal data you have provided us with, will only be used for the following purposes:

  • to carry out the agreed work as well, efficiently and effectively as possible;

From whom do we process personal data?

How do we handle your personal data?
When processing personal data, Synchron adheres to the rules laid down by the European privacy law. This means that we only collect and process personal data if there is a basis and purpose for such conduct. Only the personal data that are necessary are collected and subsequently processed for that specific purpose. We take into consideration the nature of the personal data and coordinate an appropriate technical and organizational level of security. You can therefore depend on us that we handle personal data with care, security and confidentiality.

Confidentiality
The services provided by Synchron require that our employees have access to your personal data. To guarantee the protection of your personal data, all our employees have signed a confidentiality agreement. In this manner, we impose a commitment on our employees that they keep your personal data absolutely secret, and that they handle the information that you entrust to us with care. In addition, it should be noted that only authorized staff may process your data.

Access and correction of your data
We collect and process your personal data, but your data remains your property at all times. That is why we always offer you the right of access to see what data has been collected about you. What are cookies?

Social media cookies are cookies which enable the functionality of social media pages. Buttons are included on our website to promote or share web pages on social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter. These buttons work through snippets of code derived from Facebook or Twitter itself. Through the use of these codes, cookies are being placed. Unfortunately, we have no influence on this coding. The information that they collect is anonymized as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn on servers in the United States.

The right to view, correct or delete
You have the right to request access to and correction or deletion of your data. To prevent abuse, we can ask you to identify yourself adequately.
